This award is chosen from the Innovation in Marketing entries.

Florida’s Great Northwest is the recipient of the first annual Melissa Medley Creativity Award for their “Go Beyond Our Beaches” organic marketing and public relations campaign.
Go Beyond Our Beaches features six craft breweries from the 12-county region in multi-faceted outreach to site location consultants and social media, including promotion of the one-of-a-kind Triumph Gulf Coast incentive fund unique to this region.

Eunice Sullivan Economic Development Professional of the Year
The award was first given in 1985 and was renamed in 1991 to honor Eunice Sullivan for her outstanding dedication and commitment to the economic development profession and the Florida Economic Development Council.

This year’s deserving honoree is Marc Hoenstine, CEcD, Director of Economic Development, Duke Energy.
Toni Jennings Workforce Development Professional of the Year
This award was first given in 2007 to honor and recognize the former Lieutenant Governor’s exceptional leadership in revamping Florida’s workforce system to respond to critical workforce needs and to advance local, regional, and state economic development.

2021’s deserving recipient is Rick Beasley, Executive Director, CareerSource South Florida.
Dan Webster Young Innovator Scholarship Award
Given annually by The Corridor in recognition of the achievements of an outstanding young innovator in economic development in Florida. Recipients of this award will receive a scholarship of up to $5,000 to be applied towards coursework and fees associated with achieving the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation.

This year’s awardee is Shane Chadwick, Business Intelligence and Marketing Manager, Florida’s Great Northwest.
