Honoring the best volunteer in each FEDC District
The Economic Development Volunteers of the Year Award is named in honor of Richard L. McLaughlin, who firmly believed in the significance of volunteer contributions to the achievement of economic development goals for the state.
McLaughlin was the second president of Florida Economic Development Council 1965. In honor of his contributions, one outstanding volunteer is recognized annually in each of the eight FEDC Districts.
Please be specific with your answers. The information should describe why this person should be considered as volunteer of the year and will be utilized to introduce the winner.
This award will be made within each region following the conference. Any volunteers attending the conference will be verbally acknowledged during the opening reception.
