Indian River County, Economic Development Manager
Under general supervision, performs professional, managerial, and technical functions in business development, serving as the primary point of contact for new and expanding businesses in Indian River County. Acts as a business liaison with both internal departments and external regulatory agencies as needed, facilitating seamless interactions and support for economic development initiatives.
Responsible for responding to inquiries related to economic development projects and activities, and for coordinating with local resource partners to address the needs of the business community effectively. Manages various economic development incentives and plays an active role in developing new incentives to support business growth.
This role requires exceptional customer service skills, sound independent judgment, and proactive initiative in carrying out responsibilities. Reports to the Department Director or their designee.
CEcD Certification preferred.
