Walton County EDA, Associate Economic Developer
The Associate Economic Developer will support the Walton County Economic Development Alliance in its mission to promote and facilitate economic growth and development within the county. This role requires a dynamic, proactive individual who can work flexibly across various economic development activities, adapting to changing organizational needs and leveraging personal strengths for optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Economic Development: Assist in the implementation of economic development strategies, including business attraction, retention, and expansion efforts. Analyze and present economic data to support decision-making.
Project Management: Coordinate and manage economic development projects from inception to completion. Ensure that projects meet deadlines, budgets, and desired outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, government agencies, and community leaders. Represent the organization at community and business events.
Marketing and Communications: Contribute to marketing and public relations efforts to enhance the organization's visibility and impact. Develop content for newsletters, press releases, and social media.
Bookkeeping: Perform bookkeeping duties, including tracking expenses, preparing financial reports, and assisting in the budgeting process to ensure financial accountability and transparency.
