The Economic Development Manager is responsible for the development, management and administration of the County's economic development program. The purpose of the economic development program is to:

• Support and encourage new businesses in order to promote investment in the community.
• Help maintain a sustainable economy by providing assistance for existing businesses with expansion and retention needs.

The Economic Development Manager serves as the point-of-contact in the County for economic development, facilitating relationships among the community's civic and business network.
Work requires considerable independent judgment and initiative in combining a broad scope of analytical and professional-level work which includes evaluating public-private partnerships, project management, and market analyses.
