Team Volusia Economic Development Corporation (TVEDC) through tremendous commitment and partnerships, works on strategic economic development activities and business recruitment initiatives for the Greater Daytona Region/Volusia County, Florida. TVEDC is a public/private not-for-profit corporation whose primary mission is to market and recruit business from outside the area to Volusia County and its 16 municipalities.

Team Volusia is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Director, Business Development to identify companies to recruit to Volusia County and provide detailed research for the organization. This person will be responsible for aggressively promoting the Greater Daytona Region to corporate CEOs, site selection consultants, real estate brokers and other industry professionals through targeted sales missions/trade shows, communications, and managing projects through the entire site selection process.

In addition, this position requires in-depth experience and knowledge of data compilation through an array of platforms. This role involves developing and implementing research strategies, guiding and monitoring primary data collection, responding to RFPs, and ensuring the timely delivery of research findings.
